The ramblings of a mid 40s idiot as he bumbles through life

So this is the least surprising thing to happen since my ex told me we didn’t need condoms and then got pregnant, but yes Lambrini Girls had my album of the year. They had my song of the year with Love (the only song to appear twice on THE LIST) AND they were also my gig of the year. There is no one else like them out there doing what they are doing on the level they are doing it.

From the opening rumble of sirens and bass on Bad Apple you know this is going to be something very special. Furious, potent lyrics that cover everything from eating disorders, social injustices, office politics, sexism, nepotism, gentrification and how doing a poo in your friends house is cunty. This is an album that pins it’s colours to the mast and wears its heart on its sleeve with absolutely zero shame.

It has all of the spite I have lost, the passion I miss and the self depreciation that I cling to and rely on. It has been a very, very, long time since a band has excited this much and if we ever talk about music face to face I will bore you with how great I think they are.

As great as they are, I cannot wait to see what comes next. They’ll never headline Glastonbury but they’ll upset your Brexit voting uncle and his Terfy second wife every day of the week.

Come for Love and Company Culture stay for the pure shit eating grin comedy of Cuntology 101.
